Our History
Our company was founded in 1898, under the name I.G. SIDERIDIS, with its main activity being the trade of hand tools and cutting tools, dealing for many years with meeting industrial needs.
In 1986, now established in the field of industrial goods trade, the company was renamed VULCANO, improving its position in the Greek and international market, and at the same time modernizing its hitherto traditional texture.
In 2007, the company was renewed under the name G. Alexandris & Co. EE AIR INDUSTRIAL with the aim of increasing its activity in the field of industrial materials.
The effective management, the professionalism of the staff, the company's history in the field, combined with the constant exchange of views with our main customers, have been the most important elements of our success. The result of these activities was to make our company one of the most important suppliers in the field of industrial goods, serving and supporting our customers, even those belonging to sensitive sectors such as the aviation and military industries, refineries, shipyards.
Our Identity
Our company has been operating since 2007 under the name Air Industrial, with the purpose of trading and representing industrial goods. Today, in its main structure, the company consists of four sectors:
- Representation and distribution of hand tools, cutting tools and general industrial equipment.
- Representation and distribution of foundry supplies and chemicals
- Representation and distribution of metal cutting and welding machines and accessories
- Special requests from our most important customers as well as Public tenders
The company currently employs several staff in our privately owned headquarters in the center of Piraeus with exhibition, storage and work spaces. We also maintain clean storage spaces in the Schistos Industrial Park.
At the same time, we have the support of two offices/partners in the USA (one based in New York and one based in Chicago) as well as an office/partner in Italy. Our company is certified by the BVQI body according to ISO9002.
